At Alta Vista Community Charter, the student:teacher ratio has risen 15% over the 5-year window — from 19.2:1 in 2020 to 22.0:1 in 2022. Despite that, the gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has actually widened — from 3.8:1 above in 2020 to 6.6:1 above in 2022.
