What we're seeing
At MCGILL EL, the student:teacher ratio has risen 9% over the 5-year window — from 13.1:1 in 2020 to 14.3:1 in 2023. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 2.3:1 below in 2020 to 1.1:1 below in 2023.
